I'm David, an advertising creative director and (sometimes) filmmaker originally from Australia, now living in the UK.

For 12 years I have built, developed and lead creative teams in agencies that have become famous for bold, disruptive ideas. I have worked with a whole range of clients, including healthcare, lifestyle, Government, NGO's and political advertising.

My campaigns have changed laws, behaviours, made national headlines and gone on to win major international awards.

I originally trained and began my career as a graphic designer, and I still like to put my hand to beautifully crafted design work.


These days I consider myself as much of a copywriter as I do art director, working on video scripts, advertising and screenplays.

    Leading the creative transformation of this 35 year old agency. I have built and developed a new creative team and won new business, putting us on track to become one of the hottest agencies in the North West of England.
    Clients include: Nuffield Health, Tempur Sealy, Open Rights Group, Johnstone's Paint, SIG, Polypipe

    Late 2012 - Early 2014

    Director, Lemon Tree Passage (Australian Feature Film)

    My advertising career was put on hold to direct Lemon Tree Passage, an Australian feature film released by Universal Pictures. Lemon Tree Passage is a supernatural thriller based on a popular urban legend about a haunted stretch of road in New South Wales.

    Creative Director, Fnuky (Adelaide, Australia)

    Led the creative team of this infamous disruptive creative agency. Our work repeatedly outshone the major network agencies and the agency became the most internationally awarded in South Australia.
    Clients include: Coca Cola Amatil, Lion Nathan, Keep Australia Beautiful, Wirra Wirra Vineyards, Arts SA
